    • Good afternoon,

Thank you all for your continued support of the WCC, our programs and our activities! We have and are continuing to move forward through this unprecedented time, offering activities and programs for all to enjoy.

    • Per New CDC Guidelines: (Updated May 14th)
      As of Monday, May 24th
    • Maine has removed the Mask mandate.
    • Masks are no longer required (Indoors & Outdoors) for those that are fully vaccinated. However, it is still recommended for those not vaccinated to practice social distancing and wear masks where social distancing cannot be maintained.
    • Reminder:
    • The WCC Staff are not the mask police and we will not be asking for proof of vaccination, please be responsible and respectful of all staff and patrons.
    • We are relying on each individual to be responsible for themselves and follow the recommendations of the CDC.
    • All times, programs and activities are subject to change, please read the following updated information for the Wiscasset Community Center!

Memorial Day Weekend, Closed for the Weekend (Sat, Sun & Mon)
    • Sunday, July 4th Holiday Parade – WCC / WPRD will have details coming soon!

    • As of May 24th, we are updating our hours, programs, activities, guidelines and restrictions with the following information: Please read the updated information below.

    • Our Summer hours for the Gymnasium and Fitness area (Pool hours are further down):

      Mon - Thurs     5:00 am - 8:00 pm
      Fri                   5:00 am - 7:00 pm
      Sat                  7:00 am - 2:00 pm
      Sun                 CLOSED (May 30th – Sept. 5th )

    • Updated: (The WCC Gymnasium & Fitness Room will be open continuously throughout each day (excluding the pool which will continue to close between 1 – 1:30 pm (Mon – Fri), all cleaning and disinfecting of the building will be done during open hours.

Thanks to your support, memberships are on the rise and the use of our facility continues to grow on a daily basis. We want to continue to stress that we request everyone to stop and read through the posted signs before entering the WCC. We have had great feedback from our members and are working hard to continue to update you on any changes in our policies and or State Guidelines as we move forward during these times together.
    • The WCC Building (Gymnasium, Fitness Room, Senior Room and Pool (Reservation) is fully open and operational for all to use.
    • Disinfectant spray bottles are still required for the Fitness Room. Please spray and wipe down the equipment after each use or when done with your individual cycle of multiple pieces of equipment.
    • Spray bottles will still be available for anyone who desires to use them (not required) throughout the WCC Building, the bottles will be available at the Front Desk.
    • After using spray bottles, please return the towels to the bin and the bottles to the front desk for disinfection.
    • The Lap Pool and Alcove are still available by reservation, numbers for Lap Pool swimming are still at 3 per lane, socially distanced. If you are calling to reserve lap lanes and you have 2 or 3 people, you can swim in the same lane when space is limited or too conserve space for others. The Alcove pool is being increased to 12 people at one time, this means that there could be 2 or 3 separate groups of people in the alcove at one time, sharing this space, socially distancing.  We are not yet at 100% open. However, we are hoping at the time of registration you will work with us and others when it comes to using our pool facilities.
    • Moving forward as a business, we are looking at keeping the reservation of times, lanes and alcove space. We do ask that if you make a reservation and you are unable to make it please let us know ASAP, the pool is very busy and booked making it hard for some patrons to reserve their desired time, we need to be able to accommodate all of our patrons. PLEASE take the time to let us know if you cannot make your reserved time.
    •  It is very important that you give an accurate number when making your reservation, this is a WCC restriction, flexibility depends on each individual situation and lifeguard coverage. All reservations are in half hour increments, please be specific as to how much time you will want for your swim in the pool (1/2 hour, 1 hour, 1.5 hours). All reservations need to be confirmed, if you leave a message you will get called back as soon as possible, thank you for your patience with this process.
