What is Pickleball? Pickleball is a racquet sport that combines the elements of badminton, tennis and ping pong. Pickleball was created with one thing in mind: FUN.  It was designed to be easy to learn and play whether you're five, eighty-five or somewhere in between.Scheduled for Monday, Wednesday & Fridays (7:30 - 10:00 am)We are offering Tuesday mornings from 7:30 - 10:00 am.Tuesday mornings are for beginner and intermediate players who want to better their game without the pressure of a competitive game (M,W&F).

CHECK BACK SOON!The American Red Cross learn to swim program is designed to teach people how to be safe in, on or around water and to teach individuals of different ages and abilities how to swim in a positive aquatic learning environment.  The six learning levels teaches aquatic and personal water safety skills in a logical progression.  In the six levels, participants build on their basic skills to learn various propulsive movements on the front, back and side.  As the levels increase, participants learn to refine the different strokes and build endurance.  Each level includes exit skills assessments that put together many of the skills learned in the level.

We have a few of our members that request this on a daily basis and we thought that this might be a great way of keeping busy during this idle time.

This years programs will include a 3/4 boys, 4/5/6 girls, 5/6 boys, 7/8 girls & 7/8 boys travel teams. These teams are also determined by sign-ups, due to this some of these teams may not happen. To get the maximum experience for your child we require that your child be enrolled in our Coed Recreational Basketball program. The travel basketball season will get into full swing the end of January and continue into the month of March.Travel teams will practice weekly and compete in scrimmages and local weekend tournaments throughout the months of February & March.If tryouts are warranted and your child is not picked to participate on a team then you will be issued an account credit or refund.  All fees need to be paid in full in order for your child to participate in any tournaments or receive a travel team jersey (7/8 only). All other teams have jerseys from regular season.Fee includes a reversible jersey (7/8 only) and entry fees into at least 2 local tournaments.

Practices will be created to train and teach our young runners to enjoy the sport of running while growing into athletes. Practices will be held 2 days a week, starting April 1st and will be held at the Wiscasset Community Center.  Runners will compete in "Fun Run Meets" held in area communities on Wednesday afternoons throughout the month of May with a league championship meet at Twin Brook (Cumberland) held in June. Fun Run Meets will take place in Wiscasset, Cumberland, Brunswick & Pownal. START DATES POSTPONED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE.CHECK BACK SOON!Join Coach Charlie Bassett and assistants for the upcoming Spring Running Club season.This program is designed to promote running as a fun and healthy way to enjoy a team atmosphere while developing a lifelong passion for running. Practices will be created to train and teach our young runners to enjoy the sport of running while growing into athletes. Practices will be held 2 days a week, starting April 1st and will be held at the Wiscasset Community Center.  Runners will compete in "Fun Run Meets" held in area communities on Wednesday afternoons throughout the month of May with a league championship meet at Twin Brook (Cumberland) held in June. Fun Run Meets will take place in Wiscasset, Cumberland, Brunswick & Pownal. If there is space available it will be on a first come / first serve basis with an additional cost ($5.00 late fee). Registration / Payment is due no later than the 27th of the month for the upcoming month. Any registrations / payments made on or after the 28th of the month will be charged the late registration fee.
