If your looking for a new challenge, yoga on a paddleboard will reinvigorate you and push you to become an even better yogi than you thought possible -- all while enjoying the natural splendor of floating on water.

WCC Pool is excited to introduce Marylou Cook, the instructor offering this cool new challenging program to the individuals who love Yoga! This class will work your flexibility and range of motion all while challenging your core strength, balance and increase awareness of your body and mind! Come enjoy the warmth of our 85 degree pool room with the 83 degree pool water!

Marylou has been a teaching yoga in the Mid-Coast area at all levels and as a Maine Guide has been leading Paddleboard trips and Paddleboard Yoga on the lakes and harbors of Maine. Marylou has a Master's in Education and loves teaching and sharing her passion for the practice of yoga whether on the mat or on the board. She is really looking forward to getting on the water this season in the WCC Pool!

Some Yoga poses we may practice on the SUP.
Downward & Upward Dog, Boat Pose, Childs Pose, Bridge, Happy Baby, Plank, Cobra, Cat, Cow, Seated Forward Bend, Savasana; Just to name a few!

Class will begin February 23rd and run for 6 weeks:
               Sunday evenings:     4:00 - 5:15 pm

            (March 1st class only will be 5:00 - 6:15)

Pre-registration is required: Max 12 participants
Boat, paddle & life jacket included in cost.

What to wear for SUP Yoga!
Proper attire: Stretchy, water resistant workout attire is recommended when performing such poses.
