'MidCoast' Cal Ripken / BabeRuth & Softball
We (Wiscasset Parks & Recreation Department) are excited to announce that we have changed our Baseball / Softball affiliation for the upcoming 2019 season.
We are no longer affiliated with the Lincoln County Little League.
We are joining forces with the Boothbay Region and other area towns to become a Charter League for Cal Ripken.
This program is more age appropriate and gives our youth a competitive level of play with kids of similar skills and age.
The fee for this program is set at $45.00 for all participants. This is a straight cost across the board for all Minor & Major participants.
Minors ( Ages 9 & 10); Majors (Ages 11 & 12)
BASEBALL
Baseball Minor Division - Ages 9 & 10 (Age determined as of April 30,2019)
This division is also open to younger players (8 year olds) who petition to play up and are selected by a Coach / Manager.
Minors will have practices and games during the week (TBD) as well as games on Saturday's, Home Fields used will be WPRD Field (Rt. 27), WMHS Softball Field & WPRD Sherman Park (WES).
Wiscasset Area Minors Skills Assessment Day is going to be Saturday, March 30th (8:30 - 10:00 am) at WMHS Gym.
Boothbay Region Minors Skills Assessment Day is going to be (still TBD)

All Wiscasset Area players are required to attend the Skills Assessment Day, if your child cannot attend you need to notify the League President (Duane Goud) by Wednesday, March 27th.

A copy of your child's Birth Certificate is required this year because everyone is considered a new participant in the Cal Ripken Program. Once established you will no longer have to provide a copy of your Child's Birth certificate.
There will be a late registration fee of $10.00 assessed to all Baseball & Softball registrations taken in after Saturday, March 30th.
